NON-REMY WEFTS
Non-Remy Hair — Complete Overview
Everything you need to know about Non-Remy hair — types, grades, and what suits your needs.
Non-Remy hair is one of the most commonly available and budget-friendly types of human hair. It is often called fallen hair — strands collected from multiple sources where roots and tips are not aligned in the same direction.
Because strand directions are mixed, non-remy hair can be more prone to tangling. However, it remains popular due to its lower cost and wide availability, making it a practical choice for value buyers and short-term use.
Normal Non-Remy Hair
The most economical type. Cuticles face different directions, which increases friction and the chance of tangling with regular use.
Tangle-Free Processed
Processed to reduce tangling — usually by smoothing or removing cuticles and applying a conditioning treatment for improved manageability.
Single Drawn
Contains natural length variation. Some strands may be up to 2 inches shorter, creating a slightly tapered end appearance.
Double Drawn
More evenly sorted so most strands are similar in length — giving a fuller, more uniform, and thicker bundle appearance.
Quality A — Premium Processed
Best non-remy grade. Tangle-reduced treatment, uniform length (double drawn), and no short strands in the weft. Closest to Remy quality.
Quality B — Good Processed
Good quality processed non-remy wefts. Tangle-reduced with double drawn sorting and slight length variation of about 1–2 inches.
Quality C — Standard Processed
Standard non-remy wefts. Single drawn with mixed strand lengths and tapered ends — best for short-term or budget applications.
